Anchoring in Times of Change

 

We are living at the turn of the ages, and change on such levels can be difficult to navigate. As the world around us changes, we must adapt too, yet uncertainty can bring fear and lack of clarity for the future.  This 4-part series is aimed to be an anchor as we move through the year.  We will work with group rituals, constellations, song & creative exercises among other things to anchor us in the here and now & to direct our paths forward.  The series is aimed to be a place of self expression, guidance for the road ahead, & support. Themes may adjust based on how the year progresses, yet a general plan is in place fitting for the meaning of each season.

 

As a long-term student of Daan van Kampenhout for both Systemic Ritual® & shamanic practice, this program is inspired by that preparation and by my own explorations. The Wheel of the Four Directions will be universal in all the meetings & we will work with it in a variety of creative and revealing ways.  I'm confident you'll be inspired and directed during this series. In this series:

*Explore relevant themes for each season to direct you & support your own evolution with these times.

*Learn and practice tools of self regulation to support & ground you in times of transition.

*Work together collectively to bring light to the world considering the current challenges we are facing.

*Work with a variety of applications when working with the Wheel of the Four Directions, to continue to teach and inspire. 

*Learn the energetics of the moment and what is coming in the year to understand the times of transition we are in and how to prepare and benefit.  (Astrology-informed)

Part 2: The South & Community -As the need and desire for community grows, let's explore the communities we come from and that shaped us, including the levels of tribal consciousness at play in our lives today.  The South direction is a time of community and connection, so let's explore anything in the way for you, so we can contribute to the bigger human family community and be part of a positive change here on Earth.

*Download a sample Wheel for you here, or bring a big sheet of white paper to make your own.

*Bring a drum, rattle or any other instrument you would use in the rituals.

*Bring 10-20 small objects, such as stones, shells, buttons, seeds, etc.

*Bring some blank sheets of paper and colored pencils/markers.
*For the best experience, it's recommended that you use a computer instead of a mobile phone, and each person should have their own device.
*As this is a group activity where we work in service to one another, it's required to use your camera.
*This event will not be recorded.
*Participants are asked to stay the full duration of the event.
