Ensuring a Strong Foundation in your English

One of the greatest influences an adult has when learning a second language is "interference" from their first (or second) language. Syntax (word order) is greatly affected y "interference" and one of the greatest reasons you don't sound as natural as you'd like in English.  During this Seminar Class, we will focus on the sentence structure of English and how getting a better understanding of the structure can help you with speaking and writing in particular.

I’ll teach you how to use a “Structure Guide” I’ve created that is a tool you could use for your entire journey with English, and you will become aware of mistakes you make and influence from L1 or L2 when it comes to word order.  This is a foundational class and topic.  If English were a house, this would be the ground/floor/foundation, for example.  

The Seminar Class is suggested for levels B1 and B2, but not exclusively to those levels.  The class is particularly helpful to anyone who wants to improve their writing skills or if your first language is one of the five Latin languages: French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and Romanian.
