Ritual for Closing 2020

Closing one things means welcoming another.  Closing one cycle starts another.  Not only are we ending 2020, a year for the books, we are also opening a new season with the winter solstice and a new twenty-year planetary cycle. The energy is strong and it is for us to be at our highest vibration to attract and manifest the best for us as we close one cycle and enter another. Using the Wheel of the Four Directions to structure the ritual, we will participate individually but together in spirit - like a moving prayer.  

The Wheel of the Four Directions is a tool I learned and used from a teacher of mine - Daan Van Kampenhout.  It brings together elements of Family Constellations and shamanism to create a beautiful and powerful way of working with personal, family and systemic issues. Native American teachers first introduced the wheel to westerners, although many groups and people used versions of a medicine wheel before that. The Wheel of the Four Directions expresses the relationship between man, nature and the Cosmos. 

What you need:

1. A blank sheet of paper (or 4 sheets of paper taped together to make one big paper)

2. A pen/pencil

3. A small stone or symbol

*It's recommended to use a computer instead of a mobile phone, if you can.

This will take place at 6 pm, Brussels/Central European time. (GMT+1/ CET)
